In dentistry, patients often need a replacement tooth or full set of dentures. Once a patient’s dental impressions are made, the mould is then sent to dental labs so multiple models can be produced for different processes. It is essential for the moulding material to accurately capture and transfer impression details to each replicated model.
CHT’s dental silicone moulding rubbers are compatible with resins or plasters and feature an easy-to-use 1:1 mix ratio and a low viscosity to capture fine details and undercuts. Because of their fast cure times, quick processing can be achieved. These silicones are also soft and contribute to easy removal of the model. Good dimensional stability is important so moulds can be used more than once and stored for periods of time without losing its form.
Finding the right silicone for your application is not limited to CHT’s product portfolio. Our technical team will partner with you to either modify specifications in a current product or custom formulate a new one to meet your exact requirements.
