SILICONE: THE SWEET SUSTAINABLE SOLUTION FOR PERSONAL CARE
The sweet silicone product line by CHT is based on sugar modification technology. The sugar compounds are sourced from natural products like sugarcane. The sweet cyclopentasiloxane alternative CHT-BeauSil™ FLUID 8301 is an ideal raw material for many personal care formulations. It also provides the base for other products like CHT-BeauSil™ GUM 8501 or CHT-BeauSil™ GEL 8017. The cationic silicones CHT-BeauSil™ AMO 902 and CHT-BeauSil™ AMO 918 are products of a sugar and amodimethicone reaction that is patented by CHT. CHT-BeauSil™ QUAT 211 is a special microemulsion using sugar surfactants to create a unique product for unique performance. All products are free from cyclic silicones (below 0.1%), MIT/BIT, and BPA, and are already meeting tomorrow’s sustainability expectations.
