Thermal Management
With the continued miniaturization and expanding population of components that comprise electronic devices, mitigation of generated heat is an ongoing issue. CHT offers a series of silicone adhesive sealants, encapsulation and potting compounds, silicone gels, gap fillers and non-setting compounds for heat dissipation.

Neutral Cure Adhesives
The CHT patented Acetone and the Alkoxy range of 1 and 2-part RTV silicone adhesive sealants are compatible for use within electronics. They can be used to bond components on printed circuit boards and will not damage sensitive metals, such as copper.

Silicone Grease
Silicone greases are formulated to provide very durable, non-setting, work stable products used to lubricate, electrically insulate and act as a heat transfer medium. They provide excellent protection against moisture and other harsh environmental conditions.

Encapsulation and Potting
CHT’s silicone potting compounds and encapsulants are used when a deep section cure is required and endure extreme temperatures while protecting electronic components from shock and vibration, moisture, and other atmospheric contaminants. The hardness of these silicones, ranges from a gel-like consistency to a hardened rubber.

Silicone Gels
Silicone gels area often used when a soft and highly flexible encapsulation is required. CHT’s silicone gels are available in a variety of hardnesses, penetrations and viscosities, and typically provide a primerless, “pressure sensitive” type bond to most substrates.

Conformal Coatings
Silicone conformal coatings are applied as a thin layer across the surface of the board to cover all components and delicate wiring. CHT’s conformal coatings adhere well to most components and substrates, maintain their physical properties in extreme temperatures, are contaminant & corrosion resistant, flow easily around components, and contain a UV tracer for visual quality control inspection.
