Chocolate and Sugar Moulding

CHT manufactures food grade silicone RTV moulding rubbers. Our 2-part, 1:1 mix ratio liquid silicone rubber can be easily mixed and poured to create a silicone mould. The capturing of very fine detail together with a soft pliable rubber facilitates the creation of beautiful food designs. The addition cure technology of silicone is safe to use with various foods including:

  • Chocolate
  • Confectionery
  • Icing Sugar

These moulding rubbers have been thoroughly tested by an independent laboratory and certified to meet FDA CFR 177.2600, EC 1935/2004 and EU 10/2011 for use with fatty and aqueous foods.

Addition Cure Chemistry

These food grade silicone moulding rubbers use addition cure technology with the following features:

  • Low shrinkage - <0.1%
  • High tensile and tear strength
  • Good abrasion resistance
  • Cure speed can be accelerated using heat
  • Multiple use of the mould
