RTV Silicone Moulding Rubbers

Mouldmaking RTV silicones are used to produce high-quality, negative moulds of almost any object, component or figure with very accurate detail reproduction – whether it be for architecture and industrial design, large-scale production parts, jewellery, or food moulding. These mouldmaking silicone rubbers are flexible but durable even after many uses.

Room temperature vulcanising (RTV) silicone rubbers use two different types of silicone chemistry to form an elastomer: condensation cure systems, which use a tin based catalyst, and addition cure systems, which use platinum-based catalyst.

Addition Cure Silicones

Addition curing systems are 2-part liquid silicones that utilise a platinum catalyst to cure by either room temperature vulcanisation (RTV) or heat to accelerate cure.

• Extensive range of hardnesses
