Silcoset RTV Silicone Adhesives 

Silcoset trade name

The Silcoset® trade name is well respected within the aerospace industry as a high-performance range of silicone materials, including adhesive sealants and potting compounds. Major OEM’s have approved these materials for use within their products and Silicoset® has a proven record of reliability over many decades.

Silcoset® RTV adhesives

Silcoset® 1-part Acetoxy based silicone RTV adhesive sealants were specifically developed to meet the most demanding, high specification applications within the aerospace and military sectors. Silcoset® 153 also has food grade and UL approvals. Silcoset® 158 is also used within the white goods industry to secure and attach cooker door hinges due to its high temperature resistance and excellent adhesion.

Silcoset® Encapsulants and potting compounds

Additionally there are two Silcoset® RTV Silicone encapsulants that will cure at room temperature and are used to protect electronic components from moisture, chemicals and vibration. Silcoset® 101 is chosen for its resistance to high temperatures (up to 300°C) which are regularly encountered in the aerospace industry. Follow the link to view the CHT silicone encapsulant pages.
